1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Japan Market Check purchased through this website and to related services provided by Lumina Studio, a business operated by Mariko Ohno in Saitama, Japan. By purchasing the Japan Market Check, you agree to these terms.

2. The Japan Market Check

The Japan Market Check is a focused written assessment of what you sell, reviewed from a Japanese customer and market perspective.

• Price: US$100, paid once through Stripe Checkout.
• Format: an English PDF report.
• The report covers: overall recommendation; opportunity snapshot; likely Japanese customer view; key barriers; primary concern; possible improvement direction; questions requiring deeper research; and recommended next step.

3. Required information and delivery

After payment, I will ask for the information needed to review your offer. The report is delivered within 7 business days after all required information is received. Business days exclude weekends and Japanese public holidays.

4. When the review begins

The review begins after your payment has been confirmed, all required information has been received, and the assessment work has started.

5. Refunds

The fee is non-refundable once the review has begun. You are paying for the assessment and the reasoning, not for a guaranteed positive recommendation.

6. What is not included

The US$100 check does not include: full competitor research; market-size calculations; customer interviews; advertising or live testing; a complete launch strategy; final target or pricing decisions; full SEO keyword research; Japanese copywriting; landing page or website production; LINE, email, social media, or e-commerce implementation; or legal, tax, import, labeling, medical, or regulatory advice.

7. No guarantee of results

A positive recommendation or sales result is not guaranteed. Market success cannot be guaranteed. You receive an initial assessment, the reasoning behind it, and a recommended next step so you can make a better decision.

8. Not legal or regulatory advice

I do not provide legal, tax, import, labeling, medical, or regulatory advice. Specialist review may be required before a product can be sold in Japan.

9. Continuing to Japan Market Research

If you continue with the US$800 Japan Market Research package, your US$100 Market Check fee will be credited toward the research fee. You pay the difference — not another US$800.

10. Your materials and the report

You keep all rights to the information and materials you provide. The report is prepared for your own business decision-making, and you may use and share it within your business. Lumina Studio keeps the rights to the general methods, templates, and know-how used to prepare the report.

11. Confidentiality

Business information you share is used only to provide the service and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Basis of the assessment

The assessment is based on the information you provide and information available at the time of review. Decisions you make based on the report remain your responsibility.
